HARVARD UNIVERSITY WIRELESS CLUB

From 2016-2019 I was the vice-president of the oldest amateur radio station in the US, the Harvard Wireless Club with callsign W1AF. The club participates in contests and public service work, along with doing road trips to various stations around New England. In this position, I was responsible for coordinating meetings and public service events. We also ran semesterly FCC licensing exams. I am a technician class license holder and am studying for my general class.

In 2018 the station was handed over to us in order to place it in full student control. We were responsible for interfacing with the university to sort out accounting, building management and with the FCC to maintain our license. The station trustee is Paul Horowitz.
